About Witalis Real Estate Consulting AB

Witalis Real Estate Consulting AB was started on March 1st 2016 by myself, Karin Witalis.

I have been working in the real estate industry since 1996, and since 1999 as a researcher.

Before starting my own firm I was employed by DTZ (now Cushman & Wakefield) as their Head of Research. Prior to DTZ, I worked for Aberdeen Property Investors in Sweden, CBRE in Sweden, ING Real Estate Investment Management in London (now CBRE Global Investors), Jones Lang LaSalle in London and Stockholm, among others.

I hold a Master of Science in Real Estate Economics from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm where I graduated in 1996.

Between 2008 and 2018 I was the chairman of SEPREF, the Swedish Property Research Forum, which is a network for real estate researchers in Sweden. Today I am part of SEPREF’s steering committee. I produce the quarterly consensus forecast.

When I lived in the UK I was a member of SPR, the Society of Property Researchers and WIP, Women In Property.
